Kim Hart

Kimberly has always had a passion for natural health. She has been actively practicing in holistic health since 1993 when she founded Adagio Holistic Therapies, LLC. Through personal and professional experience she has integrated and formed a unique method of working with clients and students. This method utilizes Indigenous methods and philosophy as well as Western and Eastern traditions.

When treating clients, Kimberly works with each individual's natural and innate healing ability to aid in the release of old, difficult or painful patterns reaching a more harmonious and naturally vibrant balance. She continues to have great success with fertility enhancement, menstruation challenges, bladder conditions, digestive issues, muscle and joint pain, headaches, and reproductive health to name a few. Kimberly has traveled, lived and studied in Central America with elders of the Maya since 1997. She has studied with Dr Rosita Arvigo since 1998, and lived with Dr Arvigo in Belize for three winters. During that time Kimberly assisted Dr Arvigo in opening a clinic in the town of San Ignacio, seeing clients there, both with Dr Arvigo and on her own. Also, while living in Belize with Dr Arvigo, Kimberly was instrumental in the development of the first Massage Therapy School for Belizeans, where she also taught the first year it was open, helping Belizeans learn new skills and earn a more sustainable living. Kimberly is passionate about ancient and Indigenous healing methods. She honors her teachers in Maya Medicine including: Dr Rosita Arvigo, Miss Hortense Robinson, Miss Beatrice Waight, Miss Juana Shish, Mr. Martin Prechtel, Don Mai and Mr Harry Guy.

Jill Shepherd

Jill Shepherd has been practicing holistic therapies since 1999. She has an inherent interest in holistic health and knows first hand how powerful and life changing a whole approach can be. Jill excels in treating pregnancy discomfort and pain - both prenatal and postpartum. Her own experience with severe sciatica in her first pregnancy led to a desire for helping women during their childbearing years. She is a certified pregnancy practitioner and incorporates her training of Maya abdominal techniques as needed. Her intention is to treat the mother directly with a nurturing touch while positively, yet indirectly, affecting the unborn child.

A trip to Belize, Central America allowed her to study with Dr. Rosita Arvigo where she became a Professional Practitioner of Maya abdominal techniques. This training has enabled her to treat a variety of ailments relating to digestive issues and reproductive health concerns. Out of this work came a passion for treating digestive imbalances and ways to naturally enhance fertility in both women and men. She has been a Teaching Assistant in several of the Self Care Retreats taught by Kimberly Hart.

In addition, Jill has training in essential oil therapies for creating balance within the body. She is highly skilled in treating chronic and acute pain as well as stress, carpal tunnel pain, TMJ syndrome, headaches, and sciatica. She has studied structural integration, crainosacral therapy, and connective tissue technique. She uses heated stone therapy when indicated, as a way to open up tissues and facilitate warming and overall healing in the body. She has been a nationally certified practitioner (NCBTMB) since 1999.

Selma Sroka

Selma Sroka found her professional home in Family Medicine, where she learned to work with the full spectrum of people. She has expanded on her foundation in conventional knowledge and training for the past 20 years, setting her intention to see people as whole systems and not just sets of symptoms and diseases. She has studied Indigenous Healing with several traditional healers from the Lakota, Maya and Aztec tradition, who have been her guides and mentors in a wholistic approach to health and healing, and she has selected specific approaches that seem to complement her work. She continues to learn from her own personal journey and from the innate wisdom of those she works with.

Selma is especially interested in supporting individuals to remember and return to balance, to prevent disease and to achieve improvement in their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Her approaches in general include nutrition and lifestyle education utilizing the functional medicine matrix, intuition, touch and movement therapy, with special attention to clearing toxins, balancing energy, creating sacred space, ritual and spiritual healing work.

Selma has completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine, from the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Although she is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is an Associate Professor for the U of MN, she will not be practicing standard, conventional medicine, writing pharmaceutical drug prescriptions or accepting insurance at Adagio Holistic Therapies, LLC. Selma will be working with the approaches and modalities which she has found supportive and beneficial for many people in their healing journeys. Examples of credentials for these approaches: Selma has a Healer's Certificate and Minister of Healing Certificate from Ron Moor's Center for Wholeness training program, and is a practitioner of Maya Traditional Healing. She has worked with plants and their ability to facilitate healing for over 20 years, and is in process of certification in Functional Medicine, Visceral Manipulation and Frequency Specific Microcurrent.

Pauline Buller

Pauline Marie is a Massage and Bodywork Therapist, as well as a Reiki Master with a passion for integrating the healing arts. After surviving a cancer diagnosis and working for many years in corporate America, Pauline needed a change. Now working in Holistic Health, Pauline is following her dream of integrating complimentary and alternative therapy with conventional medicine and whole systems care. Pauline's approach stems from personal experience, education, research, mentoring and coaching. She works to identify and cultivate your existing innate healing capacity recognizing individual differences and the many dimensions that affect your overall health and well-being.

Specializing in pain management, disease prevention, health restoration, healthy aging, and women and children's health; Pauline's Bodywork consists of restorative deep tissue that combines Western Trigger Point Therapy and Myofacial Release with an Eastern Thai-Shiatsu blend. This work will release pain on a physiological level releasing stress stored in the body's tissue and old patterns of thinking from the mind. Pauline's Energy Medicine as a Reiki Master supports the body's inherent self-healing abilities and allows the body's natural energy to flow, allowing deeper healing on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.

Bodywork and Reiki both work effectively alongside conventional health-care, whole systems care and with natural remedies to expand your treatment options and enhance your progress toward vital health.

With an advanced certification in prenatal and postnatal bodywork, Pauline can assist you during pregnancy, while entering motherhood and returning to your pre pregnancy state all the while balancing your body, mind and spirit. After struggling through her own physical and emotional health issues that were deeply rooted in stress and unhealthy patterning, she found Maya Abdominal Therapy and Mind-Body Medicine. While experiencing her own healing transformation, she realized her calling to practice these gentle yet powerful modalities.

Jen's practice is grounded in science and the new research that supports what indigenous healers have always known: the healing ability of compassionate touch, the potential of the mind-body connection and the power of spirituality. She combines the use of massage, hypnosis and her intuition with many other techniques to maximize the impact of each session. She continues to have great success helping people overcome anxiety, depression, fertility challenges, digestive complaints, addictions, breastfeeding concerns and much more.

Her intention is to support you in your process of releasing old patterns and helping you discover simple changes that you can weave into the fabric of your life that will allow you to move into more fulfilling realms of experience. Jen maintains balance in her own life through a daily spiritual and meditation practice, eating delicious food, practicing yoga, dance running, maintaining strong relationships and play.
