Our Staff:
Kimberly S. Hart has always had a passion for natural health. She has been actively practicing in holistic health since 1993 when she founded Adagio Holistic Therapies, LLC. Through personal and professional experience she has integrated and formed a unique method of working with clients and students. This method utilizes Indigenous methods and philosophy as well as Western and Eastern traditions, hypnotherapy, coaching, nutrition, herbs, etc. as the client may need.
Kimberly works with each individual's natural and innate healing ability to aid in the release of old, difficult or painful patterns reaching a more harmonious and naturally vibrant balance. She continues to have great success with fertility enhancement, menstruation challenges, bladder conditions, digestive issues, muscle and joint pain, headaches, and reproductive health to name a few.
Kimberly has traveled, lived and studied in Central America with elders of the Maya. She is passionate about ancient and indigenous healing methods. She has been exposed to healing methods of the Maya, Chinese, Japanese, Aztec, Toltec, Cherokee, Chippewa and Lakota.
Kimberly is an ordained minister, certified hypnotherapist, herbalist, Maya medicine practitioner, Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a certified instructor of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy as well as "Creative Fertility" and "Building Fertility with Nutrition".
Jill Shepherd has been practicing holistic therapies since 1999. She has an inherent interest in holistic health and knows first hand how powerful and life changing a whole approach can be. Jill excels in treating pregnancy discomfort and pain - both prenatal and postpartum. Her own experience with severe sciatica in her first pregnancy led to a desire for helping women during their childbearing years. She is a certified pregnancy practitioner and incorporates her training of Maya abdominal techniques as needed. Her intention is to treat the mother directly with a nurturing touch while positively, yet indirectly, affecting the unborn child.
A trip to Belize, Central America allowed her to study with Dr. Rosita Arvigo where she became a Professional Practitioner of Maya abdominal techniques. This training has enabled her to treat a variety of ailments relating to digestive issues and reproductive health concerns. Out of this work came a passion for treating digestive imbalances and ways to naturally enhance fertility in both women and men. She has been a Teaching Assistant in several of the Self Care Retreats taught by Kimberly Hart.
In addition, Jill has training in essential oil therapies for creating balance within the body. She is highly skilled in treating chronic and acute pain as well as stress, carpal tunnel pain, TMJ syndrome, headaches, and sciatica. She has studied structural integration, crainosacral therapy, and connective tissue technique. She uses heated stone therapy when indicated, as a way to open up tissues and facilitate warming and overall healing in the body. She has been a nationally certified practitioner (NCBTMB) since 1999.

Selma Sroka found her professional home in Family Medicine, where she learned to work with the full spectrum of people. She has expanded on her foundation in conventional knowledge and training for the past 20 years, setting her intention to see people as whole systems and not just sets of symptoms and diseases. She has studied Indigenous Healing with several traditional healers from the Lakota, Maya and Aztec tradition, who have been her guides and mentors in a wholistic approach to health and healing, and she has selected specific approaches that seem to complement her work. She continues to learn from her own personal journey and from the innate wisdom of those she works with.
Selma is especially interested in supporting individuals to remember and return to balance, to prevent disease and to achieve improvement in their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Her approaches in general include nutrition and lifestyle education utilizing the functional medicine matrix, intuition, touch and movement therapy, with special attention to clearing toxins, balancing energy, creating sacred space, ritual and spiritual healing work.
Selma has completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine, from the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Although she is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is an Associate Professor for the U of MN, she will not be practicing standard, conventional medicine, writing pharmaceutical drug prescriptions or accepting insurance at Adagio Holistic Therapies, LLC. Selma will be working with the approaches and modalities which she has found supportive and beneficial for many people in their healing journeys. Examples of credentials for these approaches: Selma has a Healer's Certificate and Minister of Healing Certificate from Ron Moor's Center for Wholeness training program, and is a practitioner of Maya Traditional Healing. She has worked with plants and their ability to facilitate healing for over 20 years, and is in process of certification in Functional Medicine, Visceral Manipulation and Frequency Specific Microcurrent.
